Characters
It might be slightly tedious to look at EVERYTHING that catches your fancy, but believe you me, going through EVERY little thing that might be interesting will help in the long run. Chances are, you’ll forget where that thing will be once you pass it, or you’ll forget. A shining item on the ground? Pick it all up. An enemy camp with a treasure chest? Defeat them now. There’s a high chance you’ll need the items you pick up now later.
And with the characters’ unique skills, exploring can be more fun and easier.
COLLECT AND DO EVERYTHING.
These are the teleportation mechanics of the game, so it’s obvious that using this will be extremely convenient, especially when traversing the expansive world. As you explore and unlock new locations through the story, make it a priority to unlock all waypoints first so that traveling across the map is easier.
Although the main story plot, aka the Archon quest, is the way to go, there is more content than just the Archon quests to enjoy. Here’s a list of other quests you can do to enjoy the world’s story to the fullest.
In-game, you are given an interactive map you can use to pinpoint locations to go to and make pins to mark locations you need to go.

You can also find an online interactive map that helps you find any material you need for character ascensions, upgrade materials, and other quest requirements!
You can cook up some food beyond just making it tasty. In all regions of Teyvat, cooking can be done on stoves in cities and a number of campsites, but make sure you have a Pyro character to light the fire to enable cooking.
There are different types of meals you can create:
Make sure you also look at you character’s descriptions when choosing who should cook. They might give extra bonuses, like a chance to receive double the product, or a demerit, like creating a “suspicious dish”.
And, sometimes, characters can’t cook at all. lol
